Here are our fantastic officers for the 2019-2020 school year!

Sarah is a fourth year transfer student at SDSU. She is a Humanities major with a minor in Anthropology, and plans to attend Law school after her graduation in May 2020. In addition to DAPi, Sarah is in Umanisti, her major club, as well as the Anthropology club .She is passionate about eliminating the stigmas that exist against people with disabilities and chronic illnesses.

Emily is originally from Los Angeles and is a fourth year transfer student at SDSU. She is an Interior Architecture major with a minor in Art History. After graduation Emily plans to move back to LA and hopes to work in the hospitality industry designing everything from restaurants to hotels. She is also a member of the American Society of Interior Designers. Emily hopes to advocate and educate others about disabilities.

Audrey is a third year student at SDSU. She is a Speech Language and Hearing Science with a minor in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience. Her plans for the future involve practicing speech pathology with traumatic brain injuries and aphasia patients. Outside of DAPi, she is President of ASL Club as well as a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Greek-letter fraternity for women. Her hopes for the organization are to encourage those with disabilities to overcome the stigma associated with their disability to educate others and reinforce the idea that we are all just people.

Paul Mauro is a fourth-year student majoring in Computer Science at SDSU. He is also a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and National Society of Collegiate Scholars organizations. Paul hopes to better educate others on the actualities, and debunk many of the stereotypes, revolving around disabilities to help create a more inclusive society.

Joycelyn is originally from Los Angeles and is a fourth year Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences major at SDSU. She is also a member of the National Student Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (NSSLHA). Joycelyn is passionate about learning about different cultural backgrounds, and hopes to increase awareness of bringing recognition and building a community for people with disabilities

Molly is a third year Journalism/Public Relations student with a minor in Weber Honors College Interdisciplinary Studies. She is also involved in SDSU's chapters of the Public Relations Student Society of America and Alpha Phi International Women's Fraternity. Her passion for writing and social advocacy motivates her to desire to promote inclusivity and empower individuals with disabilities and other stigmatized conditions.
